In Warrie (formerly TJ)(on behalf of the Yindjibarndi People) v State of Western Australia [2017] FCA 803 a judge of the Federal Court of Australia has held that the Yindjibarndi People are entitled to exclusive native title rights and interests over certain land in the Pilbara district of Western Australia including the Solomon Hub mine operated by the Fortescue Metal Group.
