Although Tim’s practice includes appearances in the Mining Warden’s Court, he has considerable experience in preparing a range of resource related documentation including joint venture agreements, farm-in agreements, sale and purchase agreements, royalty agreements, mining contractor agreements and transport agreements (shipping, train and road haulage).

Whilst at Hancock Prospecting, Tim prepared documents relating to the Roy Hill Project dealing with mine, rail and port.

Tim also has a practical working knowledge of mining on private land, predominantly pre-1899 grants (sometimes called minerals to owner land) but has also had experience with the Hampton’s Plains estate. Tim appeared as Counsel in Balde Exploration Consultants Pty Ltd v Cable Sands (WA) Pty Ltd [2014] WAMW 2014 dealing with the competing interests of the owner of a pre-1899 grant of land and the holder of a mining tenement.
